Description
Diptyque unveils a Christmas tale where perfumes and wonders intertwine. In a dreamlike Paris, the golden light of candles illuminates the facades and animates the paper-cut sets, while a mischievous cat slips from stage to stage, a discreet companion in this festive adventure. This story comes to life thanks to Victor Poucher, who writes the poetry, Vincent Puente, whose cut-out illustrations sketch a magical Paris, and Inès Mélia, a multidisciplinary artist who imagines luminous and sensory installations, opening the tale to a dreamlike and contemporary dimension. It is in this enchanted setting that the Christmas edition of Do Son Eau de Parfum is inscribed. Under the gentle breeze of the Gulf of Tonkin, Do Son captures a childhood memory of Yves Coueslant, co-founder of Diptyque. In the calm of a pagodon by the sea, the tuberoses that his mother brought back from the market perfumed the salt air, weaving an intimate link between memory, the sea and the flower. Ylang-ylang brightens up the composition, before giving way to a heart where peach and tuberose intertwine in an accord that is both fruity and enveloping. A luminous and delicate harmony, like a warm mist deposited on the skin. Presented in a bottle adorned with golden reflections and a festive case, this limited edition celebrates the poetry of the holidays.
